Unity of San Antonio is an inclusive and open-minded spiritual CommUNITY. As such, we are also proud members of Progressive Religious Organizations of San Antonio, (PRO SA) a network of clergy and lay people concerned with the spiritual well-being of the LGBTQ+ community. Unity of San Antonio members Sam Maropis and Birdie Shawker will participate in their annual PRIDE Interfaith Service online on June 14. Tune in to see them!
PRIDE: Claiming Our Faith(s) is a pride interfaith service. Our intentions are to remember the past, celebrate the present, and inspire hope for the future. We invite you to gather with us ONLINE. We look forward to seeing people from San Antonio spiritual communities; those affirming and inclusive of individuals that identify as LBGTQ+, as well as friends, allies, and supporters. Afterward, build community with others at a Zoom discussion session. The online service will be June 14 at 4:00 p.m. Search YouTube for First UU San Antonio. Click here to see their channel. You can find more information and updates on PRO SA’s Facebook Page. Click here for PRO SA’s page.
