August Movie Night features two extraordinary short films that will open your heart and linger in your soul long after the credits roll. We begin with Float — a beautiful seven-minute Pixar story about a father who learns to love and embrace his son exactly as he is. A tender meditation on unconditional love and letting go of fear. Then we'll journey into The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse — an Academy Award-winning 35-minute film following a lonely boy and his unlikely companions through a wintry landscape. Unfolding through gentle conversations about hope, fear, love, and self-acceptance, this is storytelling at its most quietly profound. The evening opens with thought-provoking questions and closes with meditation — and if the crowd is right, pizza just might appear! All are welcome. First Friday at 7pm.
