Imagination: the act or power of forming a mental image of something not present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality.
Welcome to a new month of exploration in Youth Ministry! Our Power for the month of June is the Power of Imagination. Using our faculties of conception, vision, and embodiment, we are co-creators of our lives. Over the coming weeks, our children, teens, and families will delve into our ability to picture what can be and to realize that we have the ability to create as positive or as negative a narrative as we choose. Additionally, we will examine our capacity to dream and to create a vision in our mind that allows us to leap from “what is” to “what can be”! All the while, we will endeavor to understand that by leaning in and opening to life’s possibilities, we can become a living embodiment of the qualities we hold in mind.
Our world is calling each of us to rise up in love, to embrace one another with understanding, and to work hand-in-hand to create equity for all. The Power of Imagination, leading to action, can be our gift to our world.
Youth Ministry is still homeschooling at this time. If you would like to be added to our email list contact us by email at [email protected]
Save the Date: Utilizing our collective Power of Imagination, the YM teens are creating a virtual Youth Led Service for the last Sunday of June! We are excited to see what unfolds and to share our Unity perspective with our beloved Unity of San Antonio CommUNITY!
