Rev. Jimmie Scott
Hello Dear Friends,
Unity Church of San Antonio is celebrating our “Thanks-Living” process this week as a part of our Intentional Giving program. As I thought about what my commitment will be, I was reminded of this idea from Solomon, “One person wants to give freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he/she should give, and suffers only want.”
“A liberal man will be enriches, and one who waters will himself be watered.” (Proverbs 11:24,25)
These ancient words are based on spiritual principle, and they always seemed to keep me focused on my True Source. They have inspired me in times when I have wondered how I could take care of my family, educate my children, build and pay for a church building, and risk changing careers. Those words also served me in those times when I have chosen to move to different cities and states of this great nation. With this as my backdrop, I have to commit! I commit because I am grateful. I commit because I can’t wait to see what else the universe has in store for this ministry!
Please join us as we lay the foundation for another great year at Unity Church of San Antonio. We joyously look forward to your participation in Intentional Giving at whatever level you feel confident.
Keep the Faith,
