From sea to shining sea these United States are in trauma. The double whammy of COVID-19 and current civil unrest is challenging the collective more than it’s ever been challenged before.
The question arises as to whether we are ready to meet the challenge. Do we have the spiritual will to objectively solve our problems? Having posed the aforementioned question, I expect some will be disturbed by the term spiritual will but that is exactly what is needed.
Problems don’t just disappear, they have to be worked through. Simple mathematics teaches us that. So let’s get to work. Start in your corner of the world and do what you can.
I will start in mine and do what I can, and when everyone else works to add their portion, we’ll be well on our way. Time and good works are the antidote that heals all wounds Take note of this statement by Haile Selassie;
“We must become bigger than we have been, more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men/women within the human community.”
