Rev. Jimmie Scott
This week on the road ahead, the traffic seems extraordinarily heavy.
The first instinct in heavy traffic is to start searching for avoidance tactics, but valuable time, energy, and resources can be wasted while attempting to avoid or evade anything.
Perhaps a better strategy is to slow down and relax in your own lane. Eventually traffic regains its own pace of normalcy and the road becomes free of congestion.
The mystics often speak of ‘going with the flow.’ Going with the flow from the mystical point of view means nonresistance.
When we are going with the flow we remember that destinations will always be destinations. We reach them when we need to reach them. Then do what we need to do and prepare for the next adventure.
Our strategy should be subject to the Divine flow and its dictates and rhythms, only.
So set your pace, and stick to it!
