Rev. Jimmie Scott
This week on the road ahead, I am paying close attention to the reflections and their impact on the journey.
Each reflection opens a conduit in the mind for deeper understanding, which in turn expands my vision of eternity.
What surprises me about reflections is how spontaneously they come and go. Their energy suggests they are timeless and ageless. Yet when I close my eyes, they seem current. This suggests to me that there are no unintended consequences.
Peace, love, harmony and order are always present. But if we are too distracted to recognize them maybe it’s time to clean the mirror.
“Pure experience” is the name I gave to the immediate flux of life which furnishes the material to our later reflection with its conceptual categories.”– Professor William James
