“All human wisdom is contained in these words: Wait and hope!” – Alexandre Dumas
As you travel along the road of life, occasionally glancing in the rearview mirror, which reflections inspire hope and which reflections cause concern?
If we want a better life for ourselves, we have to be willing to delve into all aspects of life. Then we improve what we can, and tackle what’s left on the table at a later time.
The horizon of the past is never deleted, but one can create a new way of remembering the past.
A case in point; much of what an individual considers as difficult as she/he is going through it takes on an entirely different meaning once the person reaches the other side of the situation. Which suggests that our ability to think critically can be impacted by fears, by worries, by doubts and looking backwards more than looking forward.
Too much glancing in the rear-view mirror impairs our ability see the broad expanse in front of us, and appreciate the possibilities there.
Keep looking ahead,
