Each and every day, humanity is faced with numerous reality checks.
We are challenged to confront our feelings, our thoughts, our concerns, our hopes and our dreams and occasionally much more. Much of this happens to us automatically, but it only happens automatically when we ignore the power of choice.
One of my favorite scriptures states, “Choose ye this day whom you will serve.” The fact of the matter is it does not stop there. It is also applicable to what you will serve and how you will serve.
We rarely look at life through the lenses of service because our modern-day concept of service is linked to all our modern generalizations. However, true service is living from the spirit within. It is a commitment to live your best life no matter what is transpiring in it.
The Hebrew word for service is “avodah.” It literally means, work, worship, and service. But esoterically, all those elements have broader implications for every aspect of life.
The road ahead is filled with light, look for it.
