With Rev. Jimmie Scott
Faith and fear have at least one thing in common. They both require our species to believe in something we cannot see. Balancing this reality is quite possibly the single greatest challenge facing humanity, because we have been conditioned in different ways.
Emotions, learned biases, suppositions, historical inaccuracies and many other factors also contribute to how we see. In the scriptures and other ancient texts, the prophets and seers were able to separate their faith from their fear, and the fears of their tribes, and envision a different world. Therefore they created a different world.
The process has not changed. Chaos and order exists side by side, destruction and construction exists side by side, and so it is and ever will be.
Choose ye this day what you will serve.
