Did you know that there are 21 dreams recorded in the Bible?
In many spiritual traditions around the world, dreams are an important part of understanding one’s waking life.
Co-founder of Unity, Charles Fillmore, stresses in his writings the importance of dreams as a means of communication with the Divine:
“Instead of treating visions in the night as idle dreams, we should inquire into them, seeking to know the cause and meaning of every mental picture. Every dream has its origin in thought, and every thought makes a mind picture. The study of dreams and visions is an important one, because it is through these mental pictures that God communicates with people. God has instructed the great and wise in every age in dreams and visions.” – Charles Fillmore, from the book, Christian Healing, page 103.
We spend about 1/3 of our lives asleep. Why not use that time to benefit our waking life?
