What is a Prayer Chaplain?

A Prayer Chaplain is:

Someone who is here to support you on your spiritual journey.

Someone who will create and hold a sacred space with you.

Someone who will listen to you and hold what is heard in the strictest confidence.

Someone who will pray with you.

"Be still, and know that I am God" (Ps. 46:10).  Our Prayer Chaplains are committed to a daily prayer life in which we affirm God's ever-abiding presence with everyone and in every situation.  We know that all we need is within us -- all love, all power, all faith, all wisdom, all supply.  It is our joy to share this knowing with you.

Our Prayer Chaplains are available to pray with you after Sunday morning services.  If you are a member of UCSA, you will receive a monthly phone call from one of our Prayer Chaplains who will pray with you about whatever is going on in your life.  We are available to visit with you in the hospital or your home in times of illness.
