Each Sunday service at Unity begins and ends with music. Music invites everyone to separate from external distractions and focus inward to experience Spirit directly. Songs are chosen which resonate with the theme of the minister’s message. They communicate in a way that engages the heart and spirit as well as the mind. Music is strategically placed within the context of the service to provide an experience of seamless flow from beginning to end. It creates an atmosphere in which we can open our hearts and transform our lives. Sometimes the music invites us to express our joy in celebration. Other times it helps us focus our attention as we quietly chant our way into meditatiion.
