A hosts a group studying and practicing A Course in Miracles. This group
meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m in the Youth Education building, the building behind the
sanctuary .
A Course in Miracles is designed as an individual self study to facilitate our learning
to listen to and trust our internal T-eacher. This is accomplished through realizing an awareness of our judgments and asking Holy Spirit to heal and assist us in our willingness to forgive. This choosing to forgive is an extension of love; where once we chose separation from others and God through judgment, we now choose love, through the grace of forgiveness that is not of our ego. This change of mind perception is the Miracle.
As we choose forgivness of others and ourselves, our perception of the world changes and we become the cause of peace. As we choose to remember who we are, the perfect, whole creation of God, the Holy Spirit extends this energy to heal the world.
ACIM students find it helpful to meet with others to listen and share their paths of self discovery. Once a week for over 21 years, an ever-changing group of people have met at Unity Church of San Antonio to study ACIM. This group practices open discussion, stimulated by the reading of A Course in Miracles. One can join at any point in their learning. This study is about remembering who we are and removing all barriers to the awareness of love's presence.
All are welcome every Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Friendship Hall.
