In answer to years of prayer intention at UCSA, we will soon have a Spanish program!

Graciela Dominguez, has come to us!  Graciela's primary language is Spanish.  She has accumulated 310 Unity SEE credits, completing the leadership education requirements in Unity's international credentialing program,  In order to earn her Licensed Unity Teacher credential, she will serve under Rev. Linda's direction at UCSA. 
Graciela has lived in SA for many years and attended and taught at UCSA during the time of Rev. Alan Stanley. She will also be on the usher team and will offer "Discover the Power Within You" as an SEE course in Spanish language.

Meeting Monthly at UCSA:

NGU (Next Generation of Unity)  - NGU regularly meets first Mondays, UCSA sanctuary, 7 pm and and second Sundays following the 11 am service. NGU is Unity's ministry for 18 to 35 (roughly) age group. See Next Generation Unity on facebook.

  WOW! Wise Older Women!^®   -  Meets monthly, the date and location for WOW varies but often meets third Saturday of each month in the Unity CommUNITY Center, 3 - 5 pm.  Since this group of fun, active, spiritual ladies sometimes meet for a Saturday outing, check with them.  For more information about this group, see WOW.    For meeting information, contact: Patsy

- This team usually meets third Sundays in the UCSA SA Conference Room following the 11:00 service. This Group affirms an earth-oriented spirituality, instituted recycling on our campus, and shares their messages with the congregation.  The team "adopted" a section of Broadway that is cleaned periodically through San Antonio's Adopt -a Spot program.  See Earth Care   or contact  David. Recap of Sunday, January 15
I thank Gary Glassman for filling for me in my absence last Sunday.

Nursery/Toddlers and UTots acted out, "Jesus Calms the Storm", Mark 4:35-41, reinforced by making boats as they discussed the story.
UKids 1 discussed, "Jesus Walks on the Water," Matthew 14:22-33, supported by "Change Directions in Mazes" and Charades.
UKids 2 discussed, "Sacrifice of Isaac", Genesis 22:1-14, followed up with "creation in mind cartoons" and Charades.
Uniteens and YOU had a group discussion about last Sunday's message, from Rev Jill Carey, "End of the World: A New Perspective".

To Do: Clean up Friendship Hall and Move YM Items in a designated space

Where: Old YM Building, Family Room (Friendship Hall)

Overeaters Anonymous, a twelve-step program for weight control, meets at UCSA, led by Rev. Cathy Naiser, Thursday evenings, 7 PM, Education Building Family Room

From OA website:  Overeaters Anonymous offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. Worldwide meetings and other tools provide a fellowship of experience, strength and hope where members respect one another’s anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions.

Parking is prohibited on the property next door to Unity Heights (subject to towing)
Also please note, due to the late-night businesses near our property, vehicles parked in our Unity Heights parking lots (front & back) after 10:30 are subject to towing.
