In answer to years of prayer intention at UCSA, we will soon have a Spanish program!

Graciela Dominguez, has come to us!  Graciela's primary language is Spanish.  She has aGraciela Dominquezccumulated 310 Unity SEE credits, completing the leadership education requirements in Unity's international credentialing program,  In order to earn her Licensed Unity Teacher credential, she will serve under Rev. Linda's direction at UCSA. 
Graciela has lived in SA for many years and attended and taught at UCSA during the time of Rev. Alan Stanley. She will also be on the usher team and will offer "Discover the Power Within You" as an SEE course in Spanish language.

Writing my book, How to Pray Without Talking to God, was easy.  It was easy because for me writing is a joyous activity.  I delight in the way understanding flows out into words.  I enjoy organizing thoughts and illustrating ideas with relatable stories.  Writing my book was fun.  When the book was published, a finished product, the time came to promote the book and market my message. Suddenly the book business got hard!  Or so it seemed.

 

Easy.  Hard.  A mental construct.  A matter of opinion.  A declaration of choice.  I talked to myself.

Overeaters Anonymous Meets at UCSA

Overeaters Anonymous, a twelve-step program for weight control, meets at UCSA, led by Rev. Cathy Naiser, Thursday evenings, 7 PM, Education Building Family Room

From OA website:  Overeaters Anonymous offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. Worldwide meetings and other tools provide a fellowship of experience, strength and hope where members respect one another’s anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions.
